When I was searching for a security/alarm company, I first went to the company I had used for 20 years. I had to reach out to them on numerous occasions just to get a quote. I then called Witness and was very impressed with the responsiveness from Tyler. They were out immediately to give me a quote, which ended up being the most competitive among all the quotes I received. Then Robert came out to do the installation. Even though he ran into some issues, he was persistent in getting everything installed. Robert did a fantastic job. Communication and return calls are also superior. Glad I switched to Witness. Great system, great service.

Their alarm system is very powerful; allowing you to arm or disarm from anywhere, just using their app on your phone. You can also control lights, door locks and garage doors from your phone; no matter where you are.
Have had only had one service call and they were here quickly and solved the problem!

I researched security companies and picked Witness Security. From the initial visit with Tyler to the finished installation with Robert, everything was top notch and above the call of duty. They show up on time, use great equipment and explain the details. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed.

Witness Security is absolutely amazing! I was with another big well known security company before Witness Security. Every month I was on the phone because my bill was always wrong. Since I was stuck on a contract so I had this monthly headache for 36 months. Once my contract was expired I dropped them like a hot potatoe.
I saw an advertisement for Witness Security on a bench. I called and the owner came out within a few days to discuss our needs, made suggestions, and promised there were not contracts and we would never have any billing problems. I signed up. I have been with Witness Security for 6 or 7 years now. I have never had a billing problem. Customer service and tech support is amazing and I have even added a couple of hew equipment. I can call and tech support has been able to walk me through any issues but they will be out quickly if it isn't any easy fix. I will be a customer for many more years to come.
Thank you Witness Security. It is so nice having one less thing to think about!

The entire Witness Security Staff is awesome. Especially Robert and Jimmy who upgraded the system at my house. They made sure that the system operated properly. They also took the time to show us how the system worked, including the App, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend this company.

We opened up the Smoke/oxygen sensor and tested the batteries. As a result of not being able to stop the beeping & checking confusion. This lead us to check all of the batteries. Much to our surprise they all pegged my good meter as good. As a result we called in service call to have the system checked. Andrew came out. He got the same results as me (4 fully charged batteries). When I inquired why the batteries tested as fully charged, why they wouldn’t work with the device, he didn’t understand the reason why it happened either.
After Andrew replaced the entire set of batteries, he said that the system was working OK and that the batteries should have lasted 3-5 years. Seems like I’ve only had the system around 1 year. Andrew said I’d be billed for a service call.
Doesn’t the system come with some sort of warranty? if should I plan on buying the same # battery of a different manufacturer and & replacing them myself?

We’ve been using Witness Security since 2017.
We recently had them install 4 new outdoor cameras, plus video doorbell, and I couldn’t be happier with their work.
Before I got Witness to do the work, I did get a quote from another company. After meeting with that company’s tech, I just didn’t feel confident in his expertise, plus that company didn’t have a local office. So, I stuck with Witness and I’m glad I did.
Keith, Tyler, and Shannon are very thorough and knowledgeable in what they do, and they don’t rush in and rush out. After installation, Shannon walked me through how to work the system and made suggestions on settings.
It’s important to us to have a 100% local company. When I call them, I know exactly who I’m talking to, and that is priceless in a security company.
Oh, and they did not ask me to write a review. I made the effort because I’m really happy with their service. Thank you, guys, again. :)

I had an issue with a 20 year alarm system that I inherited with the house I bought. After an extended power outage, the alarm would not stop going off. I called witness and they came out to disarm it for me. I decided to use them for my system upgrade. We recently had a security system installed in our home by Witness Security. I must say that the whole process was very pleasant. My salesperson was professional and explained any and all options that I had for my system. And then made sure I understood how everything would work once it was installed. Every person in my home that day installing the system was friendly and knowledgeable. Before it was over I had garage door openers, thermostats, and smoke/CO detectors added to my system, and I love it. I'm not a tech person and not of the computer generation, but they sat down with me and made sure I knew how to use my system. I would recommend Witness Security to all my family and friends.

I had been with another alarm monitoring company for the past 15 years. I started having issues where I was not getting calls from the monitoring when my alarm would go off. After numerous calls to them, they told me it was the phone company and they never came to check my system out.
I called Witness and received a quote same day. I set up a time for them to come to my house a couple days later to check out our system. And 2 days later they were back at my house updating my system. The installers were quick and professional and my system is working great again. An added bonus is now we are able to arm/disarm our home security system with the convenience of an app on our phone.

I had an amazing experience with Witness Security. After having a quote from a very popular local service company handled in an insecure and unprofessional manner, I knew I had to look for a security provider that was actually security minded.
Upon meeting the owner--who came out to do our assessment himself--I knew right away that Witness Security was serious about their work. He walked the property himself and had insights and was much more about my home and family's security than the big companies that just want your contract for recurring revenue.
In fact the local cable company, Cox offered to basically give us their security and smarthome HomeLife product for free as a part of our cable and Internet bundle. I have reached out to Cox and they haven't called me back about the other promises they made (upgraded our cable boxes to current models) all they did was send over an econtract and INCREASE my installation costs $150 over the $50 they said it would be.
Keith and the team at Witness have already taken better care of us than I can imagine any other vendor could. I've both received calls from them--from a live person--when my wife set off our new alarm and when I had a question and they said they would get back to me--they did.
They are very insightful and experienced with security. In fact the owner is a state certified security specialist. You might want to check if the salesman that is visiting you from some other company is even licensed in the state of Oklahoma.
Witness not only showed us the features of our system but had a helpful conversation helping us learn how we can integrate our system with our smart home appliances and lights we already have. But without selling or up charges.
I would recommend Witness Security to a friend or business owner.

July 19th 2019 a reflection on Witness Security Systems
I have been with witness security for several years. I have operated multiple alarm systems however, this company Stands Tall above the rest. Courtesy and responsiveness with Witness security is premier. Local customer service representatives are interested in getting my problem solved with proficiency and efficiency. Without a doubt ,they are definitely a 10 plus in my book.
Customer service, is paramount for the successof any business. Customer service can be a success marker or a failure marker, this company is definitely successful because of customer service and superior products. That customer service from the owner of the company is positively reflected in every job position.
I have had the opportunity of having Robert, who is a new, service team technician. Robert has had to service my home twice because of sensory issue which one of the sensory systems. Robert fixed it and as hot as it was and he is never a complained whatsoever.
I have been unequivocally pleased with his professionalism and mannerisms. I so the same thing about Tyler an absolute gentleman and professionalism unmatched. The Witness Security technicians are the best.
Witness security, in my opinion, is The Benchmark for how services in any industry should operate especially in the realm of security.

As a plumbing contractor who is always making unpaid trips to jobs he was so thankful to be on the receiving end of that kindness.
You have our gratitude and business!
Thank you!!

Witness Security installed our alarm system at the Muscogee Creek Nation Citizenship Office. Very professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. The install technician was amazingly polite, did a great job on the install and training, as well as made sure that everything was cleaned up before he left. Furthermore, their office staff is extremely helpful and always answers the phone.

Keith was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the system hardware, functioning, and monitoring service. The serviceman, Josh, that installed our system was professional and efficient. In the few times we've needed to call, we were speaking to a person right away who was able to answer our questions effectively. The uniformly professional attitude by everyone we've encountered with Witness has been very impressive and effective in developing a sense of trust and security.

I bought a house where the former owner used Witness Security. I did not retain a security company for service. When I have had issues with the security equipment (e.g., low battery, random beeping), I have always been able to call Witness Security and they have helped me every time even though I am not a customer. I have been very impressed and pleased with the customer service

So happy I found them!! One of the best experiences I have had in a LONG time!! I called Witness Security and they were able to come out within hours of me calling. Keith walked me through all of the options and explained the difference in their service compared to other companies. They had the alarm installed and all ready to go later that day! As a fellow business owner, I appreciate the amazing customer service and quality of work that they provide. I will be referring Witness to anyone I know that needs an alarm system or camera system!

I definitely 5 Star to Witness Security for the price, and they provide you with all the system features, access, and integration you could want out of a modern home security system. Quick, easy installation and set up. They won't give you a whole lot of sales talk, only what's matters. Tyler and Keith went above and beyond to call us when there's some little adjustment on schedule and they’ll meet our needs to make sure our house is secured specially when we are out of town. That tells me of their integrity and commitment. Truly customer satisfaction guaranteed!!

Great customer service from our initial call through installation. They offer all the bells and whistles, but there wasn’t the slightest bit of pressure during the set up meeting. Keith was more interested in what our needs were than he was selling us unnecessary products.
Tyler did a wonderful job with installation and had everything up and running in no time. Monitoring is set up on a month to month basis vs a 2 year contract. That tells me they are confident they are doing an effective job servicing their customers when they don’t see the necessity of a two year contract.

Update after three years (and moving away): I had Witness Security for about three years and it was great from install to when I called to cancel. The service itself was always great, from the folks on the phone and in email when I had a question.
When I was moving from Tulsa, I called to learn how to cancel and they were great. Clear instructions and easy process. No weird procedures or drawn out process.
Now that I can compare to my new security company, I'm sure Witness is one of the best, if not the best, out there. They are straightforward and honest and I already miss them.
Prior review:
I have had my Witness Security alarm system for a year now and I am pleased. From the quote to installation, there was no pressure at all, just facts and clear pricing. (which is not at all like any conversation with the big names.) Installation was fast and during the appointment, I learned all about the system. Response from monitoring is very responsive and while I have not needed emergency services when my pet sitter accidently set the alarm off I could use the app to turn the alarm off and then speak with the monitoring people on the phone. I highly recommend Witness Security.

Very quick response time. We contacted them on Thursday, came out that same evening to go over what they offered (no sales pressure whatsoever), we contacted them on Friday to tell them what we wanted, and it was installed on Monday. The technician took the time to answer all my questions and go over all the features of the system. I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a security system.

I switched to Witness Security after the previous company I was with (1) continuously got bought out and (2) they took 3 minutes to call me on an alarm signal. When I spoke to Keith and Tyler, they assured me they were the best in the business along with their reasons why. I did not hesitate to switch to support a local company. After a number of crimes in our area we decided to look into a home security system. After talking to a number of companies, we ended up going with Witness. The main reason I selected them was the fact that there is no contract. This is HUGE. Keith came out and explained the whats of the system. Then, I was able to schedule an install within a few days of my initial meeting with Keith. His son, Taylor was the person who did the install. He called about 30 min before he arrived to let me know he was coming. During the install, he was very professional and even cleaned up after himself from the various holes he had to make. They use a in door sensor which is fantastic because there is almost no way to fool it. When he came to do the install, there was a part that was not in stock (understandable since it was not a common option). Since the install was not complete they did not demand payment at that time. Instead they waited until everything was complete. There was a bad sensor in the ones they installed, but once I notified them, they came out the same day and got it fixed. These guys are great and I am happy to be able to do business with them.

Update - Although we happily used Witness for many years we switched security companies almost two years ago. We were on a maintenance plan and complained several times about issues with malfunctioning door alarms. The last time a serviceman came (03/24) we were advised we needed a whole new system. In reality there was only an issue with the door sensor which was being overlooked. I felt compelled to post an updated review so as not to be misleading. Very nice people but what began as a terrific business relationship changed for us.

Through a friend I became aware of a family run security business known as "Witness Security". Over a period of a month, at various times, I spoke with owner Keith Schlutz about the most current commercial security technology. Keith is soft spoken, non pushy, and will never propose any product just for the sake of selling an item.
After our first conversation, I decided "Witness" was going to provide my system. It was just a matter of what I wanted from a design perspective.
By mid August, 2015, with Keith's assistance, I had settled on a configuration. One week later the system was installed and has been operating beautifully. When I leave my home or go to bed at night, there is a certain peace of mind knowing my property is being monitored.
Besides personalized assistance, there is another aspect of "Witness" you will enjoy - "customer friendly installers". During the few hours they were at my home, the "Witness" installers were pleasant, hard working, and made sure to clean up any traces of their work.
If you are interested in a state of the art security system and want to talk with fair and knowledgeable individuals, Witness Security is an option worth pursing, A solid 5 stars out of 5 stars rating from me.

Personable, professional, cost-effective, convenient, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. We appreciate the opportunity to work with such a great family of folks! We are very pleased with our security system and the patience they had/have for our many questions. The phone is always promptly answered and they are always ready to help. Our car was robbed in our own driveway; two blocks away there was a car jacking, and a month before that, a stolen vehicle was left in front of our home; so we were compelled to find a sense of security. Either things are getting rough, or our nice family neighborhood has turned into the "hood". We now have confidence in our security and peace of mind. After recently having an attempted break in at my home, I contacted Witness Security for a price quote and the monthly rate was extremely more reasonable than other places I checked so I immediately made an appointment for installation. Keith, his son and his wife were all so great to work with and they had me fixed up the very next day! Come to find out a neighbor had been stealing from me for awhile and knew when I would be away from home. The frequent stolen items from my home along with the very visable attempt to break in my back door were causing many sleepless nights for me. A week after the installation, I was able to catch the thief and now I can sleep at night and not worry what will come up missing every time I leave my home unattended. I love the alarm system and Witness Security were very helpful, friendly and reassuring in all their efforts!!! I just wish I had done this a long time ago and would have had I known it was so affordable!

Got both a camera and alarm system in the price range I expected. Good service and install went well. I feel way more secure with both systems in place!
Update a year later and Witness Security is still excellent! I had a couple minor battery issues over the nearly 2 years I've had them. One was the earthquakes we had vibrated the plug that charges the battery loose which was sort of funny. BOTH times their service has been great! Neither time was it anything urgent but they responded to my call pretty quick and solved my problems the next business day anyway. Just reinforces why I'll recommend Witness to everyone ... A lot of companies could learn about service from this company!
